    • Hemis Gompa, a Kagyud Tibetan monastery in the far north of India,
    • Xue Feng Si, an ancient Ch’an monastery in eastern China.
    • Participation in several Native American ceremonies, including the Sun Dance and a four-year cycle of Vision Quests.
    • Long-time collaborator and head facilitator of Shinzen Young on the Basic Mindfulness instruction system
  • Founder and director of for the Center for Mindful Learning, and head on several programs, including:
    • Mind the Music, a mindfulness training program for teens that uses popular music as the object of concentration.
    • Modern Mindfulness for Schools, an interactive online program that teaches mindfulness to teachers and students.
    • Mindful City, offering mindfulness training opportunities to parents, community members, and businesses throughout Winooski, Vermont.
    • MAPLE, the Monastic Academy for the Preservation of Life on Earth, a residential mindfulness training program (2013 – present)
    • Work/Flow, a co-working program for meditators who come to our Center to do deep mindfulness practice while working remotely
